Material Sorting & Recovery Operations
Every bag opened, every item sorted at our Ras Al Khor facility. Contamination removed before it destroys the value of what you've separated.
What this is
Physical receipt, weighing, and bag-by-bag sorting of all collected streams at Ree's Dubai facility. Each stream is processed to remove contamination, aggregated by material type, and routed to verified downstream partners.
The gap between "we recycle" and "it actually gets recycled" in the UAE almost always sits at sorting. Material that arrives contaminated goes to landfill regardless of intent — and most clients never find out.
The problem it solves
Unsorted or contaminated material loses its commodity value entirely. Recyclers reject it. It goes to landfill. The collection record still says "recycled."
